WHAT WE DID

Phastek had an exciting vision of how their store should look and function. Backed up by MAK Design agency and Convermax Year-Make-Model search they succeeded in it.

The merchant uses our frontend API to store the vehicles selected by customers in the YMM lookup in the customers’ wishlists.

The Hero section has several buttons that lead to the vehicle landing pages. And My Garage got a dialog box extension with a vehicle image.

The user can click on one of the categories in the top menu and get to the category page. If the shopper has selected a vehicle before going to the page, they will automatically get redirected from the “Performance Air Intakes” to the “Corvette Performance Air Intakes” category page.

If there are no parts for a selected car in the category, the user will see a window above the search results suggesting to go to the page that features vehicle-specific parts.

Also, in cases when the user has selected a vehicle, the universal products are not shown in the search results. The shopper needs to turn on the universal toggle for them to appear in the results.

By custom tailoring the YMM, search, and product filters, Convermax fitment search helps us better communicate important aspects of the products to customers. The Phastek team wanted the ability to filter products by reviews for their customers. Besides creating a special filter, our team added a star rating to display on the product cards in search results and the autocomplete suggestions.

The main thing that made Convermax stand out was that it was built with the aftermarket industry in mind. It gives us tools to use to make decisions on how our users shop. We did our research since the YMM was new to our platform and even though it is priced higher than a traditional YMM, it delivers in value.
